Online Poker Aide: The Best and WorstWhat is an Online Poker Aide? Well, it is anything that will help you with online poker. Most of the time it refers to online tutorials and poker schools. Online gambling sites refer to them as anything that could help you... those they consider cheating and those that are not. I will stick with online tutorials, paid online services, and online poker schools. I talk about Poker Assitants, Online Poker Calculators, Online Poker Tracker in other places on my site. Also, I do go into more depth about Online Poker Schools. Most online poker tutorials are decent, but nothing is great. I would warn anyone about buying an e-book or guide that says it is the best online poker aide available. Most of these are scams and give the same information that you can find on this site. What you should look for in online poker help is something that will tell you how to calculate odds, when to make what moves, etc. As far as online poker schools I do know people that have taken some of them. Some of them are offered by the very casinos that want you to play there. For example, Party Poker, Pacific Poker, and Pokerroom all offer poker schools. They are all free and offer basic information. None of them will make you an allstar poker player. None of them will truely make you successful. Some of the online poker schools even tell you not to bluff. This not the way to play poker. To play poker you need to have everything in your arsenal. Check out those sites for more information, but none of them are that great. One poker school that stands out is Poker School Online. I have known one person to try it, although I have not tried it myself. Supposedly students have won more than $ 2million online with one winning as much as $575,000 in one tournament. I am pretty skeptical about schools like this, but the person that I knew that took it said it was great. Also, this school has won awards for being the best online poker school. Since I have not taken it I can not recommend it, but I would say it is worth looking into. The best online poker aide is experience.
