InterPoker Online Review

InterPoker Review

Starting up in 2001, InterPoker is not a well known site. Recognizable through the InterCasino brand, it is competitive and better than average. Some improvements and resulting expansion have come since 2005 and traffic in the Hold’em games is on the rise. The site offers plenty of tournament action as well. As an international site, there is a healthy level of competition. On the critical side, a drab presentation and somewhat low game variety have been noted. As a stable and functional room with soft competition and reputable bonuses, the site is attractive. Unfortunately, it does not accept US players.

Bonuses are definitely an attraction here. With recent changes, a 100% match up with a limit of $150 is now available. Players must play 5 times the bonus amount in raked hands in order to receive it however. For example a $100 bonus will require only 500 raked hands to clear. The minimum rake must be at least $1. The rake at InterPoker is 5% up to a maximum of $3. A $500 reload bonus is offered as well. As a loyalty offering, frequent players get “My Player Points” (MPP). Earned only in cash games, each point is earned through a hand in which the rake reaches $1. The points are then used for such benefits as freerolls. As a promotional site, Inter Poker offers the InterPoker Hot Spot League, which has a $600,000 tournament along with World Series of Poker (WSOP) , European Poker Tour (EPT) and World Poker Tour (WPT) qualifiers. Promotions change frequently, so it is wise to keep updated on what is offered each month.

The software is considered fair, smooth-running, and relatively bug-free. A member of the Cryptologic network, the site has developed reputable presentation. The lobby is functional and offers lots of information, such as potential table data, allowing for informed selection. Other features include as color selection, chip animations, hand values, and player location information. A log viewer will let players look at recently played hands. There is even a voice option for the dealer in this software. Other feature, such as note taking and hand history are also available. An attractive table and avatars are also nice features.

InterPoker actually made use of a novel idea in which players are allowed to act as "props," with the role of starting a new table. Rakebacks are not offered at Interpoker, but a $100 ($150 limit) monthly bonus on top of $500 start-up is available. Players who clear both bonuses each month can add as much as an extra $7,200 to their total accumulations each year.

The game variety is average, including Hold'em, P/L Omaha, 7 Stud, Omaha H/L , Heads Up, Single Table Tournaments and Multi-Table Tournaments. There is about average tournament traffic, with a strong preference toward short handed Hold’em. Total traffic can be up to 3, 500 during peak times, with about 70% at the Hold’em tables. There is an abundance of both No-Limit and Limit tables available, but higher limit tables and ring games are sometimes hard to find.

Customer service at InterPoker comes in the form of 24/7 telephone and e-mail support. Response time can be as much as four hours, but accuracy is a strong point. Deposits can be made by credit card, NETeller, FirePay, EPC, certified check, regular check, wire transfer, money order, TeleBuy, and Basic 900pay. Withdrawal options include credit card, NETeller, FirePay, Citadel, check, EPC, and wire transfer.
